Composing While Black & Queer at HfMT Köln
Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne focuses on diversity, inclusion and new perspectives in new music. Between 27th–29th October, the festival includes concerts, masterclasses, and a symposium focusing on contemporary music by Black and queer composers, aiming to bring attention to marginalized voices beyond the traditional white, male canon. Key figures like George Lewis, Elaine Mitchener, and Jessie Cox are featured.
