Hawkins/Mitchener Quartet Debut CD
Hawkins/Mitchener Quartet: UpRoot
Mid-November sees the release of UpRoot on the Swiss label Intakt, by the quartet of Elaine Mitchener, Alexander Hawkins, Neil Charles, and Stephen Davis. The CD includes original compositions to text by Lyn Hejinian, Rumi and others alongside reworkings of songs by Patty Waters and Archie Shepp.
The album launch will take place 12 January 2018 at Kings Place, London.
