“Listening”, the first Sounds Now publication

Sounds Now is starting a new series of annual publication. With these publications, they would like to offer a space for different perspectives on the creation of long-term structural change through greater inclusion and diversity in contemporary music and sound art. Each year, they will invite several people, some working in music and some not, to reflect upon these issues. Listening kicks off the series looking at: decolonising our practice and discourse, with contributions by Elaine Mitchener, Aretha Phiri and Raed Yassin.
