WOMENS WORK at Wigmore Hall

Elaine makes her second appearance at Wigmore Hall this season with WOMENS WORK, its title taken from the pioneering magazine edited by Fluxus artists Alison Knowles and Annea Lockwood in 1975 and 1978, which featured text-based and instructional performance scores by 25 women artists. This programme presents contemporary works by today’s women and female-identifying composers: Pamela Z, Alison Knowles, Tansy Davies, Mary Jane Leach, Matana Roberts, Jennifer Walshe, Hannah Kendall, Elaine Mitchener, Pauline Oliveros, Mieko Shiomi, Younghi Pagh-Paan.
