Black Quantum Futurism: Temporal Deprogramming
Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary artists Black Quantum Futurism (BQF) present a new installation and accompanying live programme of music, performance, spoken word, talks and workshops.

Performing with two outstanding musicians double bassist Neil Charles and drummer Mark Sanders, the trio will share their multi-dimensional approach to music and sound with Think Tank’s audience revealing a uniquely intimate evening of sonic explorations.
William Parker & Hamid Drake residency
As part of a two day residency, Elaine performs in a quintet comprising the US bassist William Parker and percussionist Hamid Drake, plus Orphy Robinson and Pat Thomas of Black Top.
Part of Whitechapel Gallery’s Nocturnal Creatures Festival
Elaine presents a new performance piece drawing inspiration from “In Darkness Let Me Dwell” (1610) by lutenist and composer John Dowland in response to the exhibition Che si può fare (What can be done) by Turner Prize-nominated artist Helen Cammock.

A sound installation for Portchester Castle working with archival and historical material researched and documented by Professor Katherine Astbury (University of Warwick) and Abigail Coppins.
